Cecilia Bell, Key Accounts Director - Global Sales-Americas – for IHG- InterContinental Hotels Group, has over 21 years of experience in the hospitality and meetings industry.

After earning a B.S. in Marketing from Louisiana State University, Cecilia worked her way from Front Desk Associate to General Manager. In five (5) years at the Hilton Hotel in Baton Rouge, she rose from Night Auditor to Front Desk Manager, where she was recognized as Manager of the Quarter three (3) times. In her three (3) years at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, DC, Cecilia was recognized as Manager of the Year and rose to Senior Convention Services Manager. She was recruited by the Easlan Group to hire and train the entire staff of Marriott's Fairfield Inn, Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As General Manager she managed the construction of this new facility, ultimately leading her team to a ranking of 5th in the nation in customer service.

Cecilia worked as Director of Meetings for On-Site Productions, a Meeting and Event Planning Company in Alexandria, VA. Her responsibilities included working with clients on everything from site selection to on- site logistics, as well as, destination management services.

Prior to joining IHG, Cecilia held the position of Senior National Sales Manager for the Washington Convention & Tourism Corporation, selling the Washington Convention Center to National and International Associations across the United States.

As Key Accounts Director – Global Sales for IHG-InterContinental Hotels Group, Cecilia works with Association clients in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, selling IHG's entire portfolio of over 4,500 hotels in 100 countries.

She is involved in the Metro DC Meetings Industry as an active member of ASAE and HSMAI. In addition, she has served in various volunteer leadership roles within PCMA and currently serves as President of the PCMA Capital Chapter.
